USA Roster for Copa America 2024: Gregg Berhalter's USMNT squad for the tournament

The United States men’s soccer team is entering the final stretch of its preparations ahead of hosting the 2024 Copa America, and head coach Gregg Berhalter has named his 27-man roster for the tournament.

The first game of the tournament opens with the Argentina vs Canada match at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia on June 20.

Last week, USMNT coach Berhalter released his 27-man roster, with the players reporting to the Washington, DC area on Tuesday.

Teams have until June 15 to submit a squad with a minimum of 23 players and a maximum of 26 to CONMEBOL for the Copa America 2024, which will allow Berhalter more room for manoeuvring and he will likely only have to make the decision to cut one player.

To help define his roster, Berhalter has scheduled two friendly matches against Colombia on June 8 at Commanders Field in Landover, Maryland, and then against Brazil on June 12 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

“This summer presents us with an opportunity to progress and grow as a team as we continue to move towards the 2026 FIFA World Cup,” Berhalter said. “We have a talented group of players and are excited about the opportunity to compete against some of the best teams in the world.”

The United States will make its Copa America 2024 debut against Bolivia on June 23, giving him four weeks to run the rule over who should be in his starting lineup.
