Patrick Mahomes' heart is about to burst with family success in signing a new contract

The Mahomes family has become synonymous with sports success, thanks in large part to Patrick Mahomes‘ dominance in the NFL. With three Super Bowl victories in the last four seasons, Patrick and the Kansas City Chiefs are now eyeing an unprecedented three-peat. Patrick’s love for sports can be traced back to his father, Patrick Lavon Mahomes, who had an 11-season career as a pitcher in Major League Baseball, playing for six different teams. His career statistics include a win-loss record of 42-39, an earned run average (ERA) of 5.47, and 452 strikeouts.

Brittany Mahomes, Patrick’s wife, is also no stranger to the sports world. She is a retired soccer player who played as a forward for Icelandic club UMF Afturelding in Iceland’s third-tier league. Sports are clearly a significant part of the Mahomes family’s life, further evidenced by their involvement with the Kansas City Royals of MLB and Sporting Kansas City of MLS. Now, the latest Mahomes to venture into the sports arena is Patrick’s younger sister, Zoe Mahomes, who is following in her sister-in-law’s footsteps by pursuing a career in soccer, as proudly shared by her father on Instagram.

Zoe recently made headlines with her impressive performance in the Spring Bash Tournament and has signed with the Sting 14G Pre-ECNL Flynn soccer club, a girls’ club soccer team based in North Texas. The proud father celebrated her achievement by reposting Soccer City Richardson, TX’s Instagram post, which featured highlights from the signing day festivities. The Mahomes family resides in Dallas, which explains Patrick’s support for the Mavericks in the NBA.

Zoe is rumored to have significant talent, and with the same dedication and winning DNA as the rest of her family, coupled with the financial support for personalized coaching from her brother, her career looks promising. However, only time will tell how far she will go. For now, she will receive all the support needed to grow and develop her skills.

As for Patrick, the NFL season is fast approaching, and the Chiefs will once again be the team to beat. The entire league will be focused on preventing them from achieving the first three-peat in NFL history.
